Decided that at 64 it was time to see what all the ebike fuss was all about. I don’t get to ride as often as I like and I’m not as strong as I once was.
I’m quite pleased with this my first ebike. I think there’s a ton of value for the price. No bike is perfect but this one comes damn close for my needs.

I watched dozens of reviews on many brands before purchasing the Nomad 2X. I have had it for roughly a month and am super happy with my choice. This bike is simply all around outstanding. I do wish the find me feature was built into the app so it would work with android.

I contemplated between the nomad 2 and the nomad 2X. They ran out of the color in the nomad2 I planned on. So I started looking at the 2X and researching what was different. I realize that the things that were different were probably things I was going to upgrade since I do like to upgrade and modify things that I purchase. So I then researched how much it would cost to add those things and discovered there were savings by upgrading to the 2X.
The build quality is fantastic the technology is mature and I have really enjoyed this purchase. If you are on the fence and researching other brands like I have done extensively highly recommend the nomad 2X if you’re looking for fun quality and extra features over competitors.

Researched how the Nomad 2X would be perfect as my first ebike. This research yielded great results as it fit my needs and threw in some “wants.” I call it ” The Escalade” of ebikes. It motivates me to go outside and play like a kid again.

I am absolutely in love with this bike and it has changed my enjoyability commuting to work. I wish the battery was a little more powerful but I also enjoy that it is a more compact size fits right inside the bike looking nice and streamline and it takes some weight off of the bike. The bike is fairly heavy but well balanced and I haven’t had any issues dropping it or feeling like I was going to spill it when I’m waiting at a red light. I will also say the waterproof feature just came in handy today as I hose down my bike after riding through what can only be described as a minefield of goose sh*t on my local route! That definitely comes in handy! I will probably buy a second battery and charger when they are available for this bike for longer rides. I can’t say enough this bike is as functionally sexy as it is visually sexy and finally a bike that is really comfortable for us big folks. I didn’t even have to change the bike seat it is super comfortable and just the perfect size!

My wife and I have a home in the Mountains on my class 1 ebike had a difficult time getting up the hill to our home. 10% grade. So I have been researching class 2 and the Velotric Nomad 2x is what I landed on because of the 105 nm of torque Im 275 pounds and no problem. The ride is very smooth. A well put together bike I highly recommend it.

1st E-Bike. I’m loving it. The suspension and fat tires are great. Torque gets up the hills with no problem. Handling is great. I plan to have a lot of adventures with it.

The bike is stunning and beautiful to look at. Especially the Obsidian color that I chose. The rear suspension should be a comfy ride.The “find my ride” stickers/info papers caught my eye. nice feature in case a bike gets stolen. makes bike seem even more premium.

I like the cruise control for certain occasions. I’m able to haul a lot with my rear bag and the bike has great stability even when loaded up. An even greater desire to ride more often and get out of the house. I commute with the bike even more often now instead of driving.

The dealer that I purchased from allowed a trial ride. They explained why the bike and once they had me on it it was a done deal. The display and menu on the bike is one of the easiest to see and navigate. The seat and suspension are very comfortable. The tires are a big bonus for my farm living!
