Bought my wife a Discover 2 She loves it and so I had to have a Nomad 2 Fat tire . We have one lake 4 miles from home and another is 15 miles away. Just great to ride and see all the wildlife.

I’ve had my Nomad 2 for just a couple weeks so far but I am super impressed with this bike! You can get as much of a workout as you want with this comfy bike.
As an older guy I still want a a workout but need some assistance on the hills. This is a heavy bike so it is a little much if you are on any steep grades for me at 65.
You can use pedal assist at many different modes to suit your needs. You can also go full throttle mode if you want to zip past everyone! Your battery life will be affected if you go throttle all the time of course.
It is simply a game changer for me.
My wife has the Volectric Breeze 1 which is amazing as well! More of a cruiser and suited for her! It’s still a beast!
So far so good. Will update again in a year!

I was looking for an ebike and I decided for my first that this would suit all my needs.
I live in Vermont and look forward to getting it out even when it is snowing. I do wish that the battery life was a little better but still a Five start bike.

I kinda feel like when we were kids and your bike was your key to freedom (fellow Green Xers will especially understand). I can cruise to town or pedal to our local park with bike trails – either way I’m having fun and getting just enough exercise. I’m happy I spent a little more and chose a bike from an established American company – I feel like they’ve produced a product with all the safety certifications and a high standards of quality.

I love my new nomad 2. Struggled with previous manual fat tire bike. Even modest inclines left me wiped and the thought of doing a 10 mile trail just was unthinkable. Fast forward to today and I just can’t get enough ride time in. The bike is super comfortable and time flies really brings me back to the days of my youth and endless summer days. So you don’t need a DeLorean just a Nomad 2 to take you back in time. Thanks for the future memories.

My wife and I were looking at e-bikes and it became apparent that Velotric had a great product at a good value. We had test ridden the Discover 2 but then we had a chance to ride a Nomad 2 and bought 3 the week they came out to include one for our older son (and a fold lite for the younger).
It’s only been a few weeks and the weather has been lousy but I’m almost up to 100 miles! These bikes have allowed us to go for family bike rides long enough to justify packing them up to take them somewhere. Before we got the Nomads it was never worth packing them up for a 20-30 minute ride. Now we can go for an hour and a half making the loading and unloading time totally worth it! At 330lbs and trying to get back into shape I’m very satisfied with the soft seat and suspension seat post which easily holds my weight after adjusting it. The 21 miles per charge that I get on rail trails is reasonable at my weight and higher assist level.
